When looking for your next vehicle, scout out your local towing companies. Many hold monthly auctions for vehicles that were never picked up or paid for and often sell the auction left overs to the local junk yards. Many will allow you to inspect the vehicles prior to buying. If you are mechanically inclined, these are just about the cheapest used vehicles you can get. And they often come with what ever "treasures" the original owners left in them.
