The best way to understand what's going on in your kid's classroom is to volunteer. After you have volunteered for a while, you will become invisible to the teacher and other students. They will begin to act as they normally do. You will then learn about the academics, but, more importantly you will understand the climate and your child's true educational experience more than you would through any report.
